Some of the attractive features of the village include:
The Rendezvous Restaurant

Sunday Lunch: R70 Every Sunday
Take-away lunches are available as well as frozen portions of meals for purchase. The restaurant facilities are available to residents for private functions by arrangement.
24-hour security patrols and gate guards are on duty. Cottages are linked to the Guard House via a wireless system used as an intercom and in emergency situations.
A solar heated pool is available for use by the residents.
The lovely gardens, pathways, lawns and water features are maintained by Darrenwood Village.
The Darrenwood Village combi-bus provides transport to and from Cresta shopping centre on Tuesdays and Fridays at no cost. A list of private individuals who provide transport at a small fee for doctors’ appointments etc, is available on the notice board.
The Village does not provide cleaning or laundry service in the cottages. Private arrangements can be made for these services with staff being registered at the Village Reception.
Furniture / Removal vans
To safeguard our brick driveways, only vans up to 5 tons are permitted entry to Darrenwood Village.
Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is appointed by residents at the Annual General Meeting. Residents abide by Darrenwood Village Management & Conduct Rules.
Please note that special permission is required from the Trustees/Estate Manager for a small dog/cat to be brought to Darrenwood. An approved green metal garden fence, to the account of the pet owner, would need to be erected on the perimeter of the 'exclusive use' area of the cottage garden.
