General costs are as follows:
Lunch R 26 – R 35 (Monday to Saturday)
Dinner R 66 (Thursday evening)
Sunday lunch R 60 (Every Sunday)
Take-away lunches are available as required – delivery R4 per meal. The restaurant facilities are available to residents for private functions (birthday celebrations, etc) by arrangement.
24-hour security patrols and gate watchmen are on duty.
A solar heated pool is available for use by the residents.
The lovely gardens, pathways, lawns and water features are maintained by Darrenwood Village.
The Darrenwood Village combi-bus provides transport to and from Cresta shopping centre on Tuesdays and Fridays at no cost. A list of private people who provide transport at a small fee for doctors’ appointments etc, is available on the notice board.
THRUPPS, Johannesburg’s oldest grocery, butchery and fish store, delivers to Darrenwood Village. In addition, deliveries are made by Newspapers, Pick ‘n Pay and Chemists.
Domestic Workers must be registered at Darrenwood Village.
Furniture Removal vans
To safeguard our brick driveways, only vans up to 5 tons will be permitted ENTRY to Darrenwood Village.
Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is appointed by residents at the Annual General Meeting. Residents abide by Darrenwood Village Conduct Rules.
